You choose who repairs your car
Your insurance company can suggest a body shop. You don't have to use it.
In Pennsylvania, you pick the body shop that repairs your car after an accident. State rules for insurance appraisals (31 Pa. Code § 62.3) require the appraisal to say there is no requirement to use any specified repair shop. You can choose Performance Collision Center no matter which company insures you.

Questions about choosing a shop
What is a direct repair program (DRP)?
It's an agreement between an insurance company and certain body shops. Your insurer may suggest a shop in its program, but you can still choose a shop outside it.
What if my insurer's estimate is lower than yours?
That's common. We send photos and a detailed estimate to your adjuster and work out the difference with them. If we find more damage once the car is apart, we send a supplement for approval.
Can I switch shops after my car is already somewhere else?
Usually, yes. Call us and we can help arrange the tow and let your insurer know.
Do I have to use the dealership where I bought my car?
No. You can bring any make or model to us, wherever you bought it.
