Insurance claims and collision repair in Sinking Spring, PA
How a claim works when we fix your car, what you pay, and what to bring.
Performance Collision Center works with every insurance company. You choose the shop, not your insurer. We write the estimate, send it to your adjuster, and work out the repair with them. If the claim is on your own policy, you pay your deductible and your insurance pays the rest of the covered repair.

Insurance questions
Do I have to use the shop my insurance company recommends?
No. In Pennsylvania you choose where your car is repaired. Your insurer can suggest a shop, but they can't require one. Your right to choose.
Will you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We work with every insurance company, and we deal with your adjuster directly.
What if you find more damage after the estimate?
It happens a lot. Some damage can't be seen until the bumper or panels come off. When it does, we take photos, write up the extra work, and send it to your insurance company for approval. This is called a supplement. We call you so you know what was found.
How long does an estimate take?
Send photos online and we can give you a starting point. A full estimate means looking at the car in person, and sometimes taking parts off to see everything.
Who pays my deductible, and when?
If the claim is on your own policy, you pay your deductible to the shop and your insurance pays the rest of the covered repair. If the other driver was at fault and their insurance accepts the claim, you usually don't pay a deductible.
Should I go through my insurance or the other driver's?
If the other driver was at fault, you can file with their insurance company. You can also file with your own collision coverage, and your insurer goes after the other driver's insurance to get the money back. Your agent can tell you which makes more sense for your policy. Either way, you still choose the shop.
Can you help me get a rental car?
Yes. If your policy covers a rental, we can help set it up so you have a car while yours is being repaired.
My car can't be driven. Can you tow it?
Yes. Call (610) 273-5095 and we will set up a tow to the shop.
What if my insurer's estimate is lower than yours?
That's common. We send your adjuster photos and the repair procedures for your car, and we work it out with them.
What should I bring?
Your claim number, the name of your insurance company and adjuster, your policy information, and the police report number if there is one. Photos of the accident scene help too.
